Other conflicts / RM typos
- RM DI-284 PWR line reads "E1 (E9, 24)"; E9-24 is IGT1. Typo; E1 is E11-16.
- Symbol names differ: EWD BK = RM STP (E12-24); EWD SP1 = RM SPD (E12-12); EWD PSW = RM PSSW (E9-31).
UNVERIFIED
- II1/II2/II3 face layouts come from EWD p.41 (rendered). Engine wire = female = left drawing, per the EWD p.7 rule ("female shown first") and the 1-at-upper-left numbering. Which half is in your hand still needs a check against the wire colours.
- II3 colour (white): EWD p.41 prints DARK GRAY for II1 only. II2 and II3 have no colour printed. "White" comes from the photo notes.
- II1-3 and II2-1 are drawn "X" (blanked) on both halves. They are recorded as empty.
- Empty ECM cavities (E9-3, 4, 18-21, 25, 26, 29, 32; E10-2, 3, 10, 11, 16; E11-1, 4, 12, 14, 15; E12-2-4, 9, 13, 17-22, 25-28) have no circuit in any EWD319U page or RM DI table. Whether a terminal is physically fitted needs checking on the harness.
- E12-12 speed source for the 88 cable-speedo truck (else P0500). II3-21/22: does the sender match the 88 gauge? II3-15: does the 88 tach work with this signal? The 88 4WD switch type (E9-1 via II3-9). All carried over from the existing notes.
Corrections to existing notes (from this pass)
- II3-13 / II3-14 are 3RZ-FE only (V2 meter speed sensor; EWD p.168 *6 = 3RZ, p.228 *2 = 3RZ). On the 5VZ the meter speed comes from the ABS ECU EXO (GR-L, p.148), not through II3. ii-joint-connector-map.md lists them as the "98 VSS". They are probably empty on a 5VZ harness.
- II3-19 / II3-20 also carry the M/T back-up light switch (EWD p.116: B1 back-up switch on M/T trucks, 10A GAUGE B-Y in on II3-20, R-Y out on II3-19). They could feed the R150 back-up switch in place of the 2 new reverse-light wires. The strip list currently de-pins them.
- II3-2 (NSW feed) is A/T only. On a 98 M/T, ST2 goes through cowl splice I1 to the clutch start switch and never through II3 (EWD p.62).
- E11-9 TFN is R-G (EWD p.121), not L-R. L-R is E9-2 L4.
